Fairtrade means a fair price and good working conditions for farmers and producers in poorer countries of the world. At St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School we strongly believe all farmers should receive a fair price for their produce, have access to clean water, afford medical care needed and that their children benefit from a good education.
As Christians, we believe that supporting Fairtrade is an act of love and justice for all of God’s people and is central to our Gospel Values. As a Fairtrade group we work together throughout the year to promote Fairtrade produce in our school community and beyond.
